Anime Post: Wolf Children
A film about about a young woman who falls in love, and later becomes a mother to two, well, wolf children.
The film's initial focus is on Hana, who becomes romantically interested in a certain man at her college. He's initially stand-offish and distant, but later he warms up to Hana. After a few dates, he reveals something startling about himself: He's a Wolf. She accepts him anyways. They later go on to have two children with their father's ability.
The films focus begins to move onto the children as they grow up and go through life, grappling with the dual nature of their lives. They each slowly get around to finding for themselves an answer to a question that their mother posed to them one day: "If you could only be one thing, would you be people or wolves?"
It's a sweet film where some of the plot runs on a sort of emotional logic. Some have complained that it's too sentimental at times.
TL;DR: Yes, she did THAT with a wolf. Can't you just ignore that, though? It's a nice film, really.
EDIT: Minor analysis: Heres some color theory on the film. The color Blue in the movie seems to be associated with honesty. So, the scenes gain a blue tint whenever characters are being sincere or truthful with each other.
